Who I am

I’m a medical doctor, aromatherapist, and founder of Subtle Medicine.

My work has grown from a simple belief: that health is not only found in clinics, prescriptions, or dramatic interventions. It is also shaped by the small things we return to every day - the way we sleep, breathe, eat, move, rest, connect, and care for our environment.

I have always been drawn to the space between modern medicine and traditional approaches to healing. I don’t see them as opposites. I see them as different parts of a much wider conversation about what it means to be well.

Subtle Medicine is my way of bringing those worlds together.

Here, I explore aromatherapy, plant wisdom, nervous system support, seasonal living and the simple rituals that can be woven into everyday life. There is a gentle apothecary thread running through the work - oils, plants, scent, touch, breath, rhythm and rest - always approached through a grounded, thoughtful and medically informed lens.

My medical training continues to shape the way I think about health and wellbeing, while my curiosity has led me deeper into the worlds of aromatherapy, plants, restorative practices and everyday ritual.

Through The Apothecary, workshops, Aroma Yoga and community education, I share that ongoing exploration and invite others to discover what resonates with them.

Subtle Medicine is not about a single product, philosophy or approach.

It is about cultivating a more thoughtful, confident and sustainable relationship with wellbeing.

As a doctor, I care about safety, nuance and appropriate medical care.

As a human, I care about plant wisdom, sensory experience, creativity, ritual and the subtle practices that help us feel more at home in our bodies.

Subtle Medicine lives in that meeting place.

“Health is shaped in the small, repeated moments where the body learns it is safe, supported, and cared for.”
